Naxxramas is not a place of life. It is a floating necropolis — a fortress of bone, ice, and undeath, ruled by Kel’Thuzad, one of the most powerful Liches to ever serve the Lich King. Its halls are filled with plague, spiders, and the shambling dead. Nothing lives there.

Except for one small, warm, impossibly alive creature.

Mr. Bigglesworth is a level 5 neutral house cat. He wanders the entrance of Naxxramas, indifferent to the horrors around him. He is a Siamese cat, a reference to Dr. Evil‘s cat from Austin Powers — a pop-culture joke that Blizzard slipped into their darkest raid. But he became something more.

According to Eligor Dawnbringer, Mr. Bigglesworth was the last living creature in Kel’Thuzad‘s citadel — and was said to be the last thread connecting Kel’Thuzad to his mortal life . The cat is not undead. He is alive. And that alone makes him extraordinary in a place defined by death.

“The softest echo within eternal frost. A timeless stillness of cold bones and fragile life. An unbreakable bond.” — From the product description

The Mr. Bigglesworth Necklace captures that bond in metal. It is not a grand, triumphant piece. It is small, quiet, and intimate — just like the cat itself.

🐈⬛ Design — The Lich‘s Last Companion

The Cat

The pendant features the silhouette of Mr. Bigglesworth, rendered in high relief. It is a small, elegant piece — 24.7mm tall and 13mm wide — that fits comfortably in the palm or against the chest. The cat’s form is simple and recognisable, a quiet nod to the creature who wandered Naxxramas without fear.

The Materials

Available in copper or 925 sterling silver. The silver version has a cold, luminous quality — appropriate for a companion who lived in a frozen necropolis. The copper version carries a warmer, antique tone, like a relic that has endured for ages.

The Weight

At approx. 9.1g, the pendant is light enough to wear daily but substantial enough to feel like a real artifact. It hangs from your choice of stainless steel chain, leather cord, or silver chain.

“He remained by Kel’Thuzad‘s side from the frozen heights of Naxxramas to the Sanctum of Domination in the Shadowlands, a quiet companion through undeath and eternity.” — From the product description

📜 The Curse of Mr. Bigglesworth

In World of Warcraft, Mr. Bigglesworth is a neutral mob. He does not attack. He does not fight back. He is simply there, wandering the entrance of the raid.

But if you kill him, something happens.

Kel’Thuzad yells across the entire dungeon:

“No! Curse you, greedy adventurers! The armies of the Lich King will crush you!”

This line is voiced. Every player in the raid hears it. And for years, a myth spread through the community: killing Mr. Bigglesworth makes Naxxramas harder. Some guilds banned it. Some raid leaders deducted DKP. The legend became so pervasive that Blizzard had to clarify — killing the cat has no effect on the dungeon .

But the myth persisted. Because in a world of endless war and darkness, a Lich who still loves his cat was something worth protecting.

“When Kel’Thuzad gets angry, Mr Bigglesworth gets upset. And when Mr Bigglesworth gets upset, PEOPLE DIE.” — A popular WoW community joke
