Gipsy Danger, a Mark-3 Jaeger from the film Pacific Rim, was constructed in Alaska and activated on July 10, 2017. Standing 79 meters tall and weighing 1,980 tons, it is equipped with the "Blue Spark" 4.1 processing unit and powered by an "Arc-9" nuclear vortex turbine.
Its combat style is rooted in street fighting techniques, and it is armed with retractable Plasma Cannons on both arms. Designed for a two-pilot system, Gipsy Danger was deployed in the Los Angeles defense sector.
With a well-proportioned and agile frame, Gipsy Danger emphasizes close combat capability, featuring reinforced legs for stability. The wing-like structures on its back may function as stabilizers or additional armor. Its concealed I-19 Plasma Cannons can fire scattered charged plasma bursts at close range, capable of penetrating Kaiju hides and devastating their internal organs.
The Jaeger’s head houses a dual-pilot cockpit in a side-by-side configuration. Its first pilots were the Beckett brothers, followed by Raleigh Beckett and Mako Mori. Throughout the film, Gipsy Danger repeatedly inflicted critical damage on formidable Kaiju, delivering an outstanding and memorable performance.
