Looking at the key cap I was impressed about the build quality at first.. the keycap looks great but never sat on the stem of the key very well, it was loose and wobbled slightly if touched or if the keyboard moved. This was the First red flag but I still liked the cap at this point. Today I barely even bumped the cap with my hand very lightly and the stem to the cap crumbled into pieces. It’s ridiculous the amount of force that made this happen. This is now a 50 dollar 1/2” figure that sits on my desk… I take care of my things and only spent the money on a keycap like this with the thought that there’s nothing that can ever happen to this thing right? Cast is metal but the stem is cheap plastic that crumbles into pieces, if it just fractured down the center at least I can salvage the thing with superglue but unfortunately that’s not the case. What an Expensive paper weight that the company doesn’t back. Buy from Etsy, probably better build quality at half the price.

The keycap is gorgeously crafted with tons of intricate detail. It allows RGB through Siegward’s helm, but I have south facing lights so it doesn’t show very well. But for the money, as a gift, it is 100% worth it. It’s an incredibly unique keycap that I think will add character to any keyboard. And it does work with standard keyboard switches.
