Daemon Engines vary greatly in form and function, yet they share a single defining trait: within the physical shell of these vehicles is bound a Chaos Daemon, which controls the engine's movements. Daemon Engines possess an insatiable thirst for blood and revel in violence and destruction.
Regardless of who they serve, these frenzied constructs will annihilate anything in their path. Therefore, they must be shackled and contained until unleashed upon the enemy. Like all entities of the Warp, Daemon Engines radiate an aura of death and hatred potent enough to overwhelm weaker minds. Those standing near these possessed machines often fall to their knees in terror, their thoughts consumed by the presence of the daemon.
A crucial figure in the creation of Daemon Engines is the Chaos Sorcerer. Through rituals and incantations, they summon the daemon and bind it into the physical frame of the engine. Among the newest of these creations is the Black Legion's Venomcrawler—a grotesque, spider-like abomination!
